Schedule

HOME ROUTINES THAT SUPPORT SCHOOL

Clear routines provide a sense of stability and consistency for children, allowing them to focus on their studies and engage effectively in their learning process. By establishing and reinforcing these routines at home, we can create an environment conducive to academic success. Here are a few suggestions on how you can continue to support your child's routine during these last two weeks of school:

  1. Consistent Bedtime: Encourage your child to maintain a regular sleep schedule, ensuring they receive adequate rest each night. Sufficient sleep promotes cognitive functioning and overall well-being.

  2. Balanced Nutrition: Provide nutritious meals and snacks for your child to fuel their bodies and minds. A well-balanced diet contributes to improved focus and sustained energy levels.

  3. Physical Activity: Encourage your child to engage in regular physical activity, both during school hours and at home. Exercise aids in cognitive development and promotes a healthy lifestyle.

  4. Limit Screen Time: Set reasonable limits on recreational screen time and encourage your child to engage in other activities such as reading, playing outdoors, or pursuing hobbies.

  5. Open Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with your child's teacher. Continue to check for important updates, newsletters, or assignments.
