Thanksgiving Baskets

During the month of November, CNG parents are asked to participate in the Thanksgiving campaign by purchasing certain food items to put together baskets for CNG General Services and Fundacion Hogar Nueva Granada (FHNG) staff, as a token of our appreciation, in celebration of Thanksgiving. We ask students to bring in their items and drop them in the boxes located in the hallway, outside of each classroom. Please send these items no later than Wednesday, Nov. 8th. Below is the list of items by grade level:

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC) are scheduled for Friday, November 17th. There won't be school for students on that day. This year, the conferences will be conducted in person. Starting on November 8th, you can use Skyward to set up your conference, and we'll provide instructions on how to do that soon. Report Cards will be accessible online through Skyward on November 16th.

CNG´s Lost & Found

Please look at this Lost & Found repository for misplaced items. If you identify something belonging to your child, email Laura at the Reception Desk (lauram.torres@cng.edu) with the item description and your child´s name and grade, and she will help coordinate pickup.

We would like to remind you that staff has a 24-hour response time for emails. In the event of urgent matters or emergencies, please do not hesitate to contact the PS office directly at 2123511 extensions 167 or 269. 

Arriving at School on Time

One of CNG´s core values is responsibility. Therefore, we kindly request your support in reinforcing and modeling punctuality for your children by ensuring that students arrive in class promptly at 7:00 AM. Students arriving after 7:05 will be marked as 'Tardy.' Timely arrival will enable our teachers to begin their lessons promptly, preserving valuable instructional time and minimizing disruptions. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation.
