Are you backing up your data?
When you use a computer or a mobile, you may accidentally delete the wrong files, have a hardware failure, or lose a device. Even worse, malware may infect and wipe or encrypt your files.
At times like these, backups are often the only way you can rebuild your digital life. Backups are copies of your information stored somewhere other than on your computer or mobile device, such as the cloud.
There are cloud-based solutions that store a copy of your files in the cloud automatically. At CNG, we use Google Drive as the service for having redundancy of our information. Click here for more details.
Two-Step Authentication?
As part of CNG's digital security strategy, we are progressively implementing 2-step authentication (2SA) activation for all faculty and staff CNG Accounts.
2SA is an additional layer of authentication beyond a username and password. 2SA involves something you know (password) and something you have (your smartphone) to prevent someone from logging in with only your password.
If you have not enabled two-step authentication (2SA) for your CNG account, please follow this guide to set it up.

Do you know how visitors can connect to the CNG Wifi?
If the visitor enters through the main gate, they will receive a ticket with the credentials to connect to the CNG_Guest Wifi.
Do you know how parents can connect to the CNG Wifi?
They can connect to the CNG_Parents network; the user and password are their ID number registered into Skyward.
