Outdoor Learning Space

A makerspace is a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. The purpose of the space is to create more of the maker mindset, creating something out of nothing, exploring interests or developing solutions to engineering design challenges. The makerspace helps students apply and develop 21st century skills like collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking across a multiple of subject areas to provide opportunities for a multidisciplinary, integrated approach to learning.

PS Library MakerSpace

There is one Makerspace located at the PS Library on the second floor of the IMC Building. You can use this space to work on STEM/STEAM/STREAM, PBL and Design Thinking projects with the possibility of using Ipads to access all our virtual libraries and check out more than 1.000 books.

PS Digital MakerSpace - P18

We will use the PS Tech Lab as our new Digital Makerspace. In that sense, students and teachers will be able to book this space to work on different projects integrating technology to solve innovative problems.

PS MakerCarts

We have 2 Maker carts are mobile storage units that are designed to house tools, materials, and supplies for a makerspace. They are typically equipped with wheels, allowing them to be easily moved around the space as needed. Maker carts are used to organize and store various tools and supplies, such as electronics components, woodworking tools, sewing equipment, and 3D printing materials, among others. The carts often have multiple compartments, drawers, and shelves, allowing for easy access to tools and materials. Maker carts are an important part of a makerspace as they help to keep the workspace organized and efficient.
