32 Trees were planted throughout the CNG and FHNG campus, an initiative created and lead by HS Teacher Brian O`Connor.
ES students organized, planned, and executed a bake sale to raise funds for a local animal shelter. Funds were used to buy much needed medicine for dogs and cats, as well as building a cat house. Additionally, all animals received anti-flea medicine, which is very costly.
HS students collected plastic bottle caps for Tapitas por Patitas, a non profit organization that sells caps to purchase food and medicine for animal shelters.
A 3rd Grade Class was moved to make a difference for animal conservation. Students fundraised for Pantera.org to support their work in protecting threatened species like Jaguars on a worldwide scale.
Funds raised: $1.100.000
National Honor Society (NHS) HS students painted the exterior walls of the shelter. Unfortunately, they missed out on playing with the dogs this time around, but they left an evident improvement in their facilities.
