The mission of the CNG Health Zone Unit (HZU) is to protect and promote health and well-being for all members of the educational community. Our nursing team serves as leaders who bridge healthcare and education by implementing the nursing process in the school setting, ensuring:

• Timely and accurate nursing assessments,

• Appropriate interventions,

• Evaluation and referrals for our students, and colleagues.

• Promote a safe learning environment.

• Promote and protect an optimal level of wellness for students and staff.

• Provide emergency care for ill and injured students and staff.

• Minimize the loss of instructional time.
