CNG Hub for Prospective Parents and Students: Students in the Spotlight

Our Alumni

I was recently awarded the Gates Cambridge Scholarship to continue my education at the PhD Program in Cambridge. I will be pursuing a PhD in Latin American studies, focusing my research on contemporary Latin American horror literature, and its relationship to Latin American history. Books like "2666" by Roberto Bolaño and "Nuestra Parte de Noche", by Mariana Enríquez, inspired this project and my interest in horror literature. I hope to delve further into the genre, and properly link these books to better understand Latin American history and culture.
